Hospital Based Complex Clinical Care Service Provision

Tender description

NHS Lanarkshire (“NHSL”) requires to provide 28 patients with ongoing Hospital Based Complex Clinical Care (“HBCCC”) or similar provision within the Lanarkshire area (covering the North and South Lanarkshire local authority areas). It is considering in-house and external solutions for provision of the services and wishes to understand external market capacity at the current time. In the event an external, market delivered service is identified as the preferred option then it is anticipated a Contract Notice and procurement documents will be published using the Public Contracts Scotland website. Lot 1: NHS Lanarkshire (“NHSL”) requires to provide 28 patients with ongoing Hospital Based Complex Clinical Care (“HBCCC”) or similar provision within the Lanarkshire area (covering the North and South Lanarkshire local authority areas). It is considering in-house and external solutions for provision of the services and wishes to understand external market capacity at the current time. The service would provide accommodation for 28 patients who are living with dementia or similar neuro degenerative conditions who display complex stress and distress behaviours and require prolonged Hospital Based Complex Clinical Care. Some of the patients may be living with early onset dementia, and a registration agreement between the provider and Care Inspectorate would be required to support the admission of these patients. In the event an external, market delivered service is identified as the preferred option then it is anticipated a Contract Notice and procurement documents will be published using the Public Contracts Scotland website.
