The Council requires a solution for the transportation and processing of Glass. It is estimated that approximately 9,000 tonnes of mixed coloured glass will be available over 2 Lots, however this is not guaranteed. Lot 1 The Council requires a solution for the transportation and processing of the mixed coloured glass that is separated from dry mixed recyclable materials from its household and commercial waste collections in the Material Reclamation Facility at Lamby Way Depot. We estimate that approximately 4,000 tonnes of mixed coloured glass will be available, however this is not guaranteed. Lot 2 The Council also collects source separated glass from residential and commercial/trade properties within the Authority. The Council requires a solution for the transportation and processing of the bottled glass. We estimate that approximately 5,000 tonnes of mixed coloured glass will be available, however this is not guaranteed. The successful provider will guarantee a landfill diversion rate of 100% and a minimum recycling rate of 80% for both lots.
