Jet Decommissioning Celebration Event For the provision of Marquee and Related Services

At the end of 2023 JET will close and move into the decommissioning and repurposing stage of its life. UKAEA is planning to hold a celebration event to thank the many staff and teams who worked on JET over the 60 years of its operational life. The JET celebration event on 28th February will be held at the Culham Science Centre, Oxford. A large number of guests are being invited to this celebration. The aim of this tender is to appoint a single supplier to provide all the event infrastructure required to host this event and further events using the same infrastructure on the day before and day after. This purpose of this tender is to award a contract to provide the marquee and other equipment that will be required to host the event. Full details are provided in the tender pack. Interested organisations are invited to attend Culham Science Centre to see the site before preparing a proposal to deliver the contract requirements. The Supplier will therefore need to work to a timeline and a plan that allows for the marquee and related services to be installed and ready for events to take place (using the same layout) on 27th, 28th and 29th February 2024.
