Powys Teaching Health Board intend to source fee bids for commissions on this project for a FIRAS accredited door supplier to carry out a non-intrusive survey of doors inline the with fire strategies at both Brecon and Machynlleth site locations.Door QuantitiesBrecon – Double/Leaf & Half – Circa 50, Single - Circa 125.Machynlleth - Double/Leaf & Half – Circa 13, Single - Circa 20.Output requirements include schedule of condition of existing doors and recommended remedial actions (i.e. repair or replace), survey of existing ironmongery and recommendation as to suitability or upgrade requirements for a compliant door set and costings for works associated with each door and ironmongery requirements included as part of the output schedule.Note – extra over for intrusive survey of a sample number of doors across both sites, i.e. removing architraves to establish condition behind frames. 6no doors on each site, location to be agreed with Health Board.Powys Teaching Health Board recognises the importance of the Welsh language to the communities it serves. Consequently, responses to an invitation to quote or tender will be accepted in Welsh as well as English. However, please note that tender responses submitted only in Welsh will be translated by the Health Board into English before consideration.
