PLEASE NOTE: The closing date for this notice has been extended to 11/09/2024 at 5pm. 21/08 - The request for quotation has been updated with the following • The requirement has increased from 15 detailed desk studies to 33 detailed desk studies. • The deadline for receipt of quotation has been extended to 29th August 2024. • The required delivery dates in the milestone table have been extended to accommodate the additional requirement. 16/08 - The request for quotation has been updated with the following: • Suppliers are no longer expected to provide an example pre-desk study as part of evaluation criteria for "effective communication to inform decision making" • The evaluation question for project management now reads: "What systems and procedures do you have in place that would apply to the management of this Contract? Please provide details including a clear quality control and quality assurance plan. Identify potential problems/risks and explain how these will be managed." • Figure 1 has been added to the RFQ document. The contractor shall carry out 15 detailed UXO desk studies and risk assessments for England Ecosystem Survey monads (a 1km² square). The detailed studies shall: -Assess and, if applicable, report, the UXO hazard level on site; -Detail key findings of military activities within or affecting the site; -Assess the UXO hazard level on site; -Include the UXO hazard zone plan and; -Assess risk and provide a risk mitigation plan for soil surveys.
