Tender description

The Borough Council of Bolton (“the Authority”) on behalf of Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, Bury Council, Oldham Borough Council, Rochdale Borough Council and Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council (known as “Adoption Now”) is prepared to receive tenders for the Birth Parents Support Service which will be subject to the information, specification and tender package enclosed. This Service is intended to help support birth parents and relatives who have had children removed into adoption. Bolton Council commissions a specialist support service contract which includes face-to-face and telephone counselling, private intermediary services (for birth relatives of adults adopted as children) and support groups. The service is commissioned on behalf of Adoption Now which includes: Blackburn with Darwen Council Bolton Council Bury Council Oldham Council Rochdale Council Tameside Council The term of the Contract will be for one (1) years with the option to extend for up to a further two (2) twelve (12) month periods.
