Tender description
Pembrokeshire County Council (PCC) and on behalf of the Hywel Dda University Health Board will shortly be publishing a tender for a Dynamic Purchasing System for Supported Living Services . Prior to initiating the procurement process, PCC wishes to conduct a tender briefing event to provide key tendering information to bidders. PCC are interested in holding this event on: Friday 6th December 2024 at 2.00 pm - 3.30pm. If your organisation possesses the capability and expertise to provide the required service and you would like to register your interest, please e-mail your company's interest to: socialcarecontracts@pembrokeshire.gov.uk by 5pm UK time on Thursday 5th December 2024 giving your contact details i.e. name, job title, email address and contact telephone number. Please ensure only one representative from your organisation registers interest. The value listed is per annum. Lot 1: This event will be to engage with potential service providers able to deliver Supported Living Services that enable individuals with assessed needs to live their lives to their full potential. PCC’s aim is to more effectively support this group of individuals to access opportunities within their community and engage with Education, Training and Employment where possible. This service will also require Service Providers to have knowledge and skills in supporting individuals to maintain their Housing Contracts. These obligations will vary dependent on individual factors including the landlord and/ or managing agent of the property. Support tasks could include, but are not exclusive to, undertaking regular fire alarm testing, Legionella testing, Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPS) so that health and safety risks are reduced. The service provider will be knowledgeable and skilled regarding practical support assisting and enabling individuals to be an active contributor within their community and not a passive consumer, supporting the individual to develop and/or maintain skills and strategies to live as independently as possible.
