Characterisation Services Framework

Tender description

The Contracting authority seeks to inform the market of its intention to commence a procurement process by early 2025, to establish a Framework for a range of characterisation services. <br/><br/>Access to characterisation services is required to support the provision of relevant information about the physical, chemical and radiochemical properties of wastes and other materials. <br/><br/>It is anticipated that the Framework services include but are not limited to; laboratory analysis, fingerprint services and additional characterisation services, such as technical consulting, across up to 4 lots; <br/><br/>Lot 1 - Analytical Laboratory Services (excluding ILW samples requiring specialist facilities due to higher radioactivity levels) - (single provider lot) <br/>Lot 2- Fingerprint Services - (single provider lot)<br/>Lot 3- Laboratory Services – (multi provider lot)<br/>Lot 4 -Additional Characterisation Services - (multi provider lot)<br/><br/>Anticipated Framework is to support Nuclear Restoration Services (NRS) requirements.
