Tender description

The British Antarctic Survey (BAS) is looking for satellite communication services to allow for internet connections onboard the RRS Sir David Attenborough as well as the research stations. This is a split requirement, 1 lot within the procurement will be for a Geostationary Earth Orbit satellite connection (GEO) and the other lot is for a Low Earth Orbit connection (LEO). Lot Lot 1: UKRI-4507 Lot 1 Supply of Geostationary Earth Orbit Satellite (GEO) Internet services, including supply of hardware when required, across all BAS Antarctic sites and the RRS Sir David Attenborough ship. Lot Lot 2: UKRI-4507 Lot 2 The supply of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) internet services, across all BAS Antarctic sites and the RRS Sir David Attenborough vessel.
