Pitched & Flat Roofing Replacement & Repair Framework (Domestic)

Tender description

The Councils 30-year programme of reroofing works means that we are committed to ensuring its buildings are protected in the future. Under this Framework the majority of the Roofing Works are to be carried out on residential properties across the Borough on homes of varying archetypes including low-rise flats, houses, and bungalows. In addition, there is a requirement for roofline works (Gutters, Facias and Soffits) minor roof works and roofing repairs. There is a reroof mixture of pitched and flat roofs using a variety of slates and tiles on pitched roofs and various design and build flat roof systems. Annually there are approximately 300 properties requiring roofing works located across the district. In addition to full roof replacements there will be roofline renewals, outbuildings and canopy renewals as well as repair Works which be undertaken on a reactive basis. The Framework is split into five Lots and will run initially for two (2) years with an option to this for two (2) further twelve (12) month periods. The Lots are: • Lot 1: Pitched Roofing and Roofline work (gutters, Fascia’s, Soffits) • Lot 2: Asphalt/Rubber/GPR Flat Roof and Roofline work (gutters, Fascia’s, Soffits) • Lot 3: Pitched Roof Repairs • Lot 4: Flat Roof Repairs • Lot 5: Roofline and Minor Roofing works.
