Net Zero Accelerator/Community Energy project - Market Engagement Event

Tender description

The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to inform the market of a forthcoming market engagement event related to a potential upcoming procurement. The Department of Education (DfE) with the support of its Arms Length Body (ALB) LocatED are looking to appoint three delivery suppliers to commence work on a community renewables project targeting up to 150 schools/colleges in 2025-26 in three lots of fifty to help deliver the shared missions of clean energy, growth and opportunity for all by increasing the energy efficiency and generation on the school/college estate. The scope of the requirement will be split into three phases. Phase 1 - Early Feasibility studies and school/college allocation Phase 2 - Basket 1 Deliverables Phase 3 - Basket 2 and Basket 3 Services DfE and LocatED will be undertaking an online market engagement event at 11.00am on 3rd December 2024 for interested parties. The event is anticipated to last approximately 90 minutes and will give interested parties an understanding of the aims of the opportunity.
