Amgueddfa Cymru / Museum Wales is seeking to refresh its hand-held communications (two-way radio) equipment. The existing requirement is for the National Museum of Wales in Cardiff, with the potential to expand the requirement to re-equip the National History Museum at St. Fagans.Hardware and licensing requirements for Cardiff have been estimated to include the following:2 X antenae and fixings2 x Back-up batteries for above10 x charger units1 x COntrol room fixed unit58 x ear pieces58 x hand sets2 x digital repeater c/w duplexer2 x network routersAppropriate software licensingTHE PRODUCTS LISTED ABOVE ARE INDICATIVE AND FOR ILLUSTRATION / EQUIVALENCE ONLY. ANY INVITATION TO TENDER LINKED TO THIS SPECULATIVE NOTICE WILL BE PRODUCT AGNOSTICIn the event that St. Fagans is also refreshed, the hardware and licensing requirements will be approximately double the above.
