Tender description
NHS Lanarkshire (“NHSL”), one of Scotland’s fourteen territorial health boards, is considering procuring a Digital Asynchronous Consultation System (DACS) Platform for General Practice (“GP DACS”). In Lanarkshire, GP services are provided by 95 practices across the health board area serving a population of around 655,000 people. This notice provides information on NHSL's aims and objectives, and seeks information from relevant market participants on potential solutions available in the marketplace. NHS Lanarkshire (“NHSL”), one of Scotland’s fourteen territorial health boards, is considering procuring a Digital Asynchronous Consultation System (DACS) Platform for General Practice (“GP DACS”). In Lanarkshire, GP services are provided by 95 practices across the health board area serving a population of around 655,000 people. GP DACS refers to online tools that support clinical triage, remote consultation, and communication where the healthcare provider and patient do not need to be present simultaneously. To help inform NHSL’s thinking it seeks an overview of technologies currently available within the marketplace which might help it achieve its objectives. In addition, it seeks specific information in the following areas: - Procurement options - Software integration - Technical functionality - Patient interface - Commercial models Market participants are invited to complete the Consultation Response document attached to this notice to provide information in relation to the above. Responses are requested by 13th December 2024. These should be submitted by email to: tenders@lanarkshire.scot.nhs.uk NHSL may invite a cross section of respondents to this briefing to attend a one-to-one virtual meeting to help it understand further market capabilities. No commitment is made to invite any or all respondents to such meetings. Please note a record will be maintained of one-to-one meetings held and any information shared by NHS Lanarkshire will be provided to all interested participants in the event NHS Lanarkshire proceeds with a procurement for GP DACS.
