The Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of an Optical Microscope

Tender description

The University of Strathclyde (Contracting Authority) on behalf of the National Manufacturing Institute of Scotland (NMIS) seeks notes of interest for potential procurement exercise for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of a CNC Lathe, to be delivered and installed at the NMIS facility. The Contract duration is anticipated for a period of 15 months inclusive of a 12 month warranty period and 12 week lead time. Potential suppliers who believe they can fulfil the high level specification in this PIN, may be sent a market research questionnaire to review in full, complete and submit to the Contracting Authority. Suppliers are required to note their interest by 12:00 noon on the 20th of November 2024. Lot 1: The PIN invitation relates to an open tender below the Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA) threshold for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of a CNC Lathe machine at NMIS. A single supplier is required to carry out all aspects of the Contract. The successful supplier shall be able to fulfil the below non-exhaustive list of requirements: 1 The offered solution must have a minimum of 200mm diameter chuck 2 The offered solution must have a spindle with a minimum of 4000rpm 3 The proposed solution must have a minimum of a 12 station turret 4 The proposed solution must have through tool coolant 5 The offered solution must be delivered to the specified NMIS location within a three (3) month leadtime.
