Tender description

We’re creating this DPS following on from market engagement and research to help our customers meet their decarbonisation aims and targets. We’ve consulted with relevant stakeholders with regards to the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) to create a product that aligns with their requirements and funding applications for customers. Lot 1: Lot 1 - Insulation Lot 1 covers design and installation services for insulation including External Wall Insulation, Loft Insulation, Cavity Wall Insulation, Floor Insulation etc. for low carbon retro fit solutions. These works can be conducted to domestic, communal and commercial buildings owned/managed by public sector bodies. The aim of this lot is to offer SEC customers a menu of design, assessment and installation solutions in relation to insulation projects. Lot 2: Lot 2 - Renewable Heat and Hot Water Lot 2 covers the design, generation, installation, distribution and maintenance of renewable heat and hot water solutions for low carbon retrofit solutions. This includes works such as ground source heat pumps, air source heat pumps, solar thermal installations, all associated smart heating controls, district systems, heat networks and all associated ancillary items. These works can be conducted to domestic, communal and commercial buildings owned/managed by public sector bodies. The aim of this lot is to offer SEC customers a menu of design, assessment and installation solutions in relation to renewable heat and hot water projects. Lot 3: Lot 3 - Renewable Power and Storage Lot 3 covers the design, generation, installation, distribution and maintenance of renewable power and storage solutions for low carbon retrofit solutions. This includes works such as photovoltaic panels, electric vehicle charging, battery storage, all associated smart controls and associated ancillary items. These works can be conducted to domestic, communal and commercial buildings owned/managed by public sector bodies. The aim of this lot is to offer SEC customers a menu of design, assessment and installation solutions in relation to renewable power and storage projects. Lot 4: Lot 4 - Whole House Retrofit Lot 4 covers all low carbon measures required for whole house retrofit, including the building fabric, the design, generation, installation, distribution and maintenance of renewable power and storage solutions, renewable heat and hot water solutions and insulation works for low carbon retrofit solutions. This lot is comprehensive and is aimed at suppliers that deliver projects for whole house retrofit. These works can be conducted to domestic, communal and commercial buildings owned/managed by public sector bodies. The aim of this lot is to offer SEC customers a menu of design, assessment and installation solutions in relation to complete retrofit projects.
