TENDER FOR THE REFURBISHMENT OF THE GOODS/PASSENGER LIFTS AT MARKET HALL FOR HARBOROUGH DISTRICT COUNCIL

Tender description

The Council wishes to invite tenders for the supply of works in respect of the full refurbishment of the hydraulic goods passenger lift located in Market Hall, Market Harborough, inclusive of the removal and disposal of the existing equipment and all associated temporary, builders, electrical and decorative works, unless specifically detailed otherwise. The aim of this contract is: • to provide a refurbishment that is inclusive of all provisions necessary to extend the serviceable life of the lift. Further information on the requirement and relevant performance standards are available within the Specification. The anticipated contract commencement date is February 2025. The Council proposes to enter one contract commencing in February 2025 with the preferred supplier, ending on 31st August 2025. On site work (6 - 8 weeks) July and August 2025. The budget for this contract is £125,000 in its entirety (exclusive of VAT). Please Note: The Council reserves the right to reject any submissions that are over budget without further evaluation.
