Tender description

Cardiff University (the “University”) is undertaking a competitive tender process under the Open Procedure, in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 as amended by The Public Procurement (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 (the “Regulations”). <br /><br />The University will be running this process as an Open Procedure advertised both on ‘Find a Tender’ and Sell2Wales.<br />The aim of this procurement process is to seek a highly professional, efficient, high quality hazardous waste (Chemical and Clinical) disposal contractor(s), dedicated to providing an expert technical service which is conducted in an environmentally sustainable manner, which complies with all current and future legislation and aims to achieve the best ‘overall environmental outcome’. The contractor(s) will be a leader in hazardous waste management and be committed to excellence in professional delivery through membership of CIWM and accredited to a scheme such as Safe Contractor (or equivalent). The contract is for the provision of a Clinical waste and Chemical waste (including laboratory glass waste) disposal service for the University.<br /><br />This Contract is separated into 2 Lots: <br />Lot 1: Chemical Waste<br />Lot 2: Clinical Waste<br />
