Tender description

This is an intention to award the contract for an existing service to an existing provider following a direct award process C for the Children and Young People's 0-19 Contract. The Bolton Children's Integrated Health and Wellbeing Service (0-19 service) provides an integrated evidence based public health service which ensures to protect and improve population health and wellbeing outcomes and reduce inequalities for all local children and young people. Lot 1: Utilising the Public Selection Regime, the Direct Award Process C was used. As detailed in the PSR Guidance: Direct award process C may be used when all of the following apply: • the relevant authority is not required to follow direct award processes A or B • the term of an existing contract is due to expire, and the relevant authority proposes a new contract to replace the existing contract at the end of its term • the proposed contracting arrangements are not changing considerably • the relevant authority is of the view that the existing provider (or group of providers) is satisfying the existing contract and will likely satisfy the proposed contract to a sufficient standard. The tender submission was assessed against the following criteria & weightings: • Quality and innovation - 35% • Value - 30% • Integration, collaboration, and service sustainability - 15% • Improving access, reducing health inequalities, and facilitating choice - 10% • Social value - 10% CPV Code: 85323000-9 Community health services, but only in respect of community health services which are delivered to individuals The initial Contract period is 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2028 Lot 1: Utilising the Public Selection Regime, the Direct Award Process C was used.
