Supply of Mains Gas 2025 - 2029

Tender description

The purpose of this Contract is to facilitate supply of mains gas to Nottingham University Hospital NHS Trust (The Trust)'s gas meters via the NHS England (NHSE) basket via Lot 2 (Supply of Energy - Natural Gas and Additional Services) of the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) RM6251 Supply of Energy 2 Framework (The Framework). The objective is to allow the Trust to secure mains gas sufficiently in advance of the required delivery period, enabling it to heat its sites and generate electricity via the combined heat and power systems, for example. The Contract has been procured based on annual consumption of 205m kwh. The contract may be extended up 31 March 2030 and values stated may increase as a result of this and/or changes in wholesale commodity costs and/or increases/decreases in mains gas consumption (E.g. as a result of a new building coming online following a separate building project).
