***This advert is for market engagement only***<br/><br/>The commissioner has published this Prior Information Notice to advertise procurement market engagement for a future Kent Children and Young People’s Therapeutic Alliance Service. <br/><br/>Further to the previous pre-procurement market engagement events in November 2023 and February 2024, the Commissioner now intends to hold a virtual procurement market engagement event. <br/><br/>This event will be the formal opportunity for providers interested in delivering Children and Young People’s Therapeutic Alliance Service in Kent to hear about the future contracting model. There will also be an overview of the competitive process that will take place and the indicative timescales. The contract term will be ten years, with a three-year extension option. The financial envelope will be discussed during the market engagement event. Lot 1: ***This advert is for market engagement only***<br/><br/>The commissioner has published this Prior Information Notice to advertise procurement market engagement for a future Kent Children and Young People’s Therapeutic Alliance Service. <br/><br/>Further to the previous pre-procurement market engagement events in November 2023 and February 2024, the Commissioner now intends to hold a virtual procurement market engagement event. <br/><br/>This event will be the formal opportunity for providers interested in delivering Children and Young People’s Therapeutic Alliance Service in Kent to hear about the future contracting model. There will also be an overview of the competitive process that will take place and the indicative timescales. The contract term will be ten years, with a three-year extension option. The financial envelope is expected to be £5.6m per annum.<br/><br/>The Therapeutic Alliance will offer NICE-compliant, evidence-based, individual and group-based interventions to children and young people with predominantly moderate mental health and emotional wellbeing needs. In some cases, the Provider will support children and young people with more severe and enduring mental health needs as part of a multi-agency response / care plan.<br/><br/>A range of evidence-based and innovative support and interventions, including self-help support, will be offered to cater for children and young people’s differing needs and preferences. Where appropriate, support will be provided to families. Evidence-based interventions will include:<br/>• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy <br/>• British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) accredited creative therapies (examples being cooking, gardening, outward bound, arts, craft, drama, eco-therapies, music<br/>• mentoring<br/>• peer support sessions.<br/>In addition, the Provider must offer a digital intervention offer that:<br/>• is freely open to access <br/>• is tailored for different age groups as appropriate <br/>• is available out of hours (with some aspects available 24/7)<br/>• has a high level of activity/supports a large number of children and young people<br/>• includes peer support and forum functionality.<br/><br/>The virtual market engagement event will take place between 3:00pm and 4.00pm on Tuesday 3rd December 2024. <br/><br/>Attendees will also be offered the opportunity to have individual follow-up meetings on 4th December 2024 with NHS Kent and Medway leads from teams including commissioning, procurement, and finance. Details of how to book these sessions will be made available following registration.<br/><br/>Upon registration and completion of the online questionnaire, a link to the virtual meeting will be provided.
