Tender description

To undertake Engineering Safety Studies (ESS) in response to multiple safety concerns of the public or partners, as brought to the attention of the local Cumbria Road Safety Partnership (CRSP) Group or triggered by collision criteria being reached. Studies which look to find similarities between collisions that have occurred at a single site or across a route which would indicate that there may be a determinable problem with an aspect of the infrastructure, such as road markings or traffic signs. The study will identify and present initial options for remedial measures indicating First Year rate of Return and recommended scheme(s) within a Report. Additionally, to undertake a Stage 3 Road Safety Audit following the construction of a Zebra Crossing in the South Lakeland town of Grange-over-Sands Keywords: Engineering Safety Studies, Road safety studies
