Tender description

Procurement of an NHS login Identity Verification Service To Enable the Log In System Validation of a Patient's Identity. This variation increases the value of the contract from £2,742,000 ex VAT as originally published on Contracts Finder, to £4,113,000 ex VAT . This variation is being made in accordance with Regulation 72(1)(b) of the Public Contract Regulations 2015. The services provided under the contract remain the same, being Software as a Service (SaaS) however, there has been an unforeseen need to increase the value of the contract and provide continuity of service while a new competitive procurement is undertaken. The variation has been put in place to ensure that there is sufficient capacity within the contract to manage the current ID verification transaction rate and to provide reserve capacity should usage spike unexpectedly. The current contract value including this variation is £4,113,000 ex VAT and the Expiry Date of the contract remains 09/02/2027.
