Tender description

Provision of Medical Devices Maintenance Service for Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The service provision includes the maintaining of a full asset register covering all equipment trustwide. The service includes acceptance testing, asset tagging, Pre Planned Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance. Attendance and reporting is required at monthly Medical Devices Group meetings. Lot 1: The Contractor will be responsible for managing all of the Trust's Medical Equipment, according to the guidelines laid out in the document 'Managing Medical Devices', published by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Authority (MHRA) in 2021 and in accordance with the specification. This will also include the management of the Trust's Database. Northamptonshire Healthcare is the NHS organisation responsible for providing mental and community health services for the population of Northamptonshire. We provide services at a number of locations across the County, including community hospitals, psychiatric hospitals, GP surgeries, health centres and clinics. Northamptonshire Healthcare also provides primary and mental healthcare in some custodial settings (Prisons). This contract is for the maintenance of medical equipment belonging to or being used by Northamptonshire Healthcare. Over the term of this contract, the portfolio of medical equipment is expected to change (increase / decrease) as new contracts are won or existing contracts ceased.
