Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council is seeking an experienced contractor to redevelop the Market Place in Hatfield. The scheme includes:<br /><br />• Improve general access and layout by looking at the removal of level change, steps and railings <br />• Improve lighting and surfacing and offer new seating opportunities to make the space more inviting <br />• Offer a diverse range of play and leisure equipment, catering for different age groups <br />• Provide inclusive play, tactile surfaces and leisure options <br />• Upgrade quality and location of vegetation, introduce more biodiversity and seasonal interest, whilst retaining the existing trees that give value to the space <br /><br /><br />
