For this tender, AHDB are seeking one supplier to provide the use of an agricultural carbon calculator tool that adheres to the requirements detailed in the specification across the pilot farms. For this tender, AHDB are seeking one supplier to provide the use of an agricultural carbon calculator tool that adheres to the requirements detailed in the specification across the pilot farms. This calculator will be used to undertake carbon audits across 135 -170 participating farms in the Environment Baselining Pilot,. AHDB wants to determine a carbon baseline for each farm business, reporting at the business, enterprise and system level. The calculator must be able to provide a carbon audit for as many farming enterprise types as possible, including but not limited to all AHDB levy sectors i.e. Cereals & Oilseeds, Beef and Lamb, Dairy and Pork. Many farms will be mixed farms involving sectors and activities not covered by the AHDB levy. The carbon calculator tool will require functionality to cover the entire farm business, including all land management uses, any diversification that effects the land management of the business e.g. anaerobic digestors or biochar units, and non-cropped land such as woodland. The tool should provide information on: • Greenhouse gas emissions, • Carbon sequestration and losses • GWP100 and GWP* • Avoidance, reduction and removal of GHG emissions.
