TR2285 ESB Moneypoint FGD (LOT 1) and Batching Plant (LOT 2) Ash Injection Systems

Tender description

The Contracting Entity intends to procure a contract for the design, manufacture, installation (Option) and commissioning of 3 x FGD ash injection (LOT 1) and/or 1 x batching plant ash injection systems (LOT 2). ESB as the contracting entity, will be responsible for reclaiming the ash from the ASA and locating it into newly designed and constructed ash unloading facility, at the base of the planned injection systems. It is proposed that the Contract will include the design, manufacture, Installation (Option) and commissioning of 3 x FGD (LOT 1) and 1 x batching plant (LOT 2) ash injection systems. The proposed systems will be capable of elevation and subsequent injection of ash, with the stated properties, to the 3 x unit FGD’s at elevations of circa 17.5m injection point and Batching plant at circa 14.5m injection point. The required feed rates capabilities of the new systems are ash feed in rates to each unit FGD of approx. 3 to 5 tonne/hour and the Batching plant at a rate of approx. 30 to 50 tonne/hour.
