Tender description

The Higher Education (HE) team in South Africa is in need of a consultant who will support the HE programme manager with a range of project management and technical functions including stakeholder management. The consultant will generally support the design and implementation of the HE programme. The consultant working will:<br />• Provide project management, business development and technical support to the higher education team especially the HE programme manager.<br />• Support the design and analysis of programme-specific data collection as needed. This includes working with colleagues to identify indicators and tools for data collection, quality assuring all data, and undertaking basic analysis. <br />• Support the HE programme manager and Regional insights manager in setting up engagement sessions with various audiences to communicate market insights.<br />• Support in developing knowledge products in collaboration with the marketing and communications team. <br />The consultant must have excellent communication skills and be highly adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity (given the evolving nature of programme processes). The HE team are based around South Africa with support from the HE regional managers based in SSA. As such, there is a high degree of flexibility in terms of work-schedules but there will be, occasionally, meetings and general communication at potentially unsocial hours. The support would be hybrid but mostly remote. THIS CONSULTANCY IS ONLY OPEN TO SOUTH AFRICA BASED CONSULTANTS. They could be a need to travel for regional and international conferences to share insights where needed.<br />
