Tender description

This Prior Information Notice (PIN), without call for competition, is to update the market on progress of the Manufactured Products Partnership (MPP), a potentially 20 year £2bn Procurement to secure long-term strategic partnership for Sellafield Ltd's manufactured products requirements. <br/><br/>Thank you to everyone who responded to the previous PIN and provided information to support our decision making. Since then, it has been recognised that there is an opportunity to extend the work the Manufactured Products Organisation (MPO) deliver to the wider NDA group. <br/><br/>Further details can be found in section <br/>II.2.4.1 Description of procurement below. Lot 1: Sellafield Ltd's intent is to launch competitions for medium-term Contracts, which are anticipated to include the following:<br/><br/>• 3M3 boxes<br/>• 63 can racks<br/>• Decommissioning Contact Handleable Intermediate Level Waste (CHILW) containers<br/>• Self-shielded boxes<br/>• Multi Beta-Gamma Waste Boxes<br/>• Overpacks<br/>• Magnox outer cans.<br/><br/>Further information on these items will be provided in the documents section of Atamis e-procurement portal under reference C14741.<br/><br/>Sellafield Ltd plan to hold a MPO Industry Day in at the Rheged Centre, Penrith, Cumbria on 19 November 2024. <br/><br/>This will include: <br/><br/>• Details of future product requirements, upcoming tenders, and timescales<br/>• Proposed routes to market<br/>• Our ambitions to grow our supply-chain<br/><br/>Please ensure you are registered on Atamis record C14741 for further details.
