Call for Tender for the provision of equipment hire: Marine Camera System

Tender description

BIM wishes to invite tenders to submit proposals for the rental of two (2) marine camera systems. These systems will use machine learning, Artificial Intelligence for improvements in fish welfare. The cameras will be deployed from a conventional salmon pen in Ireland. These cameras must be capable of collecting information on fish weight, fish welfare and ectoparasites. The primary purpose of this tender is to test the efficacy of a camera-based system for establishing fish weight, welfare monitoring and ectoparasite observation thereby reducing the need for fish handling. The tenderer must also be able to supply software to capture the relevant metrics and display these in a way that enables simple interpretation by the end user.
