Tender description
Brighton & Hove City Council, East Sussex County Council, West Sussex County Council and NHS Sussex Integrated Care Board are looking to jointly procure Advocacy services and would like to hear from organisations who have experience in this area of provision. Brighton and Hove City Council will be leading the procurement process on behalf of itself and the Commissioners. This is not an invitation to tender. Following a previous Request For Information, the Commissioners warmly invite you to take part in our Market Engagement Event for potential and existing providers of Advocacy services. The purpose of this event will be to: - Share with you and receive feedback on our strategic vision and priorities for the development of Advocacy provision for Brighton & Hove City Council, East Sussex County Council, West Sussex County Council and NHS Sussex Integrated Care Board. - Update on the proposed procurement route and indicative timetable Any interested organisation or consortium with the experience, capability and capacity to deliver Advocacy services as laid out in this PIN notice may register for the Market Engagement Event. The Commissioners welcome collaborations and partnerships organised within a lead provider model. It is anticipated that the tender opportunity will be published in November 2024 through: https://www.sesharedservices.org.uk/esourcing Lot 1: The Service Provider will directly provide or work in partnership or sub-contract to deliver: (i) Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA) and Relevant Person's Paid Representative (RPPR) service across East Sussex, Brighton & Hove and West Sussex; (ii) Independent Care Act Advocacy (ICAA) for Brighton & Hove and West Sussex; (iii) Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA) for Brighton & Hove and West Sussex; (iv) Independent Health Complaints Advocacy (IHCA) for Brighton & Hove (v) Specialist Community Advocacy for Brighton & Hove; (vi) and Community Mental Health Advocacy for Brighton & Hove and West Sussex These services are listed under Schedule 3 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 and any subsequent competition will be undertaken in accordance with the "Light Touch Regime". Additional information: Registration Details: Potential and existing providers wishing to attend should register via email (to Heather.Barfoot@brighton-hove.gov.uk) by 10am Monday 21st October 2024. This event will be delivered virtually via Microsoft Teams on Thursday 24th October 2024 at 13:30 - 14:30. Any interested organisation or consortium with the experience, capability and capacity to deliver the ambition laid out in this PIN notice as a lead provider, partner or subcontractor may register for the market engagement event. The Commissioners welcome collaborations and partnerships organised within a lead provider model. Please note that attendance will be limited to 3 attendees per organisation. We will be providing more information, including the event agenda and meeting invites w/c 21st October 2024. We are very much looking forward to seeing you, Brighton and Hove City Council Commissioning Team on behalf of all Commissioners. Please note: An expression of interest to attend or participate in this Market Engagement Event is no indication of a commitment to participate in the future tender process nor does it infer any special status on those Providers who do attend. An expression of interest in this market engagement will not automatically entitle involvement in any future procurement exercise. Any procurement conducted as a result of this market engagement will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the advertisement as and when it is published. Providers who do not attend this Market Engagement Event will still be able to apply for the Procurement in the future. Please note that this Market Engagement does not represent a formal stage in the procurement process and attendance will play no part in any subsequent evaluation process.
