Tender description

NHS England (NHSE) will soon advertise an opportunity for organisations to tender for its payroll services which includes the four individual Commissioning Support Units. NHSE's long-term strategy is to maintain an effective payroll service during the ongoing change programme 'Creating the new NHS England' which included the merging of NHSE and Health Education England payrolls in April 2023 and NHS Digital in June 2023 and then maintaining the payroll service once the change programme is complete, which we do not expect until late 2024. NHSE will welcome bids from suitable suppliers. This notice is meant solely for the purposes of making the market aware of our intentions. Full details of the requirements will be published with the tender, no further information is available at this point.
