City Property Glasgow (CPG) will, in the coming months, publish an open tender looking to obtain the services of a company to manage a turnkey waste management solution across multiple waste streams generated at Blochairn Market. CPG currently manages contracts relating to 8 different waste streams at this site - organic waste, general waste, cardboard, wood, plastics (soft films), plastics (rigid), polystyrene and fish waste. CPG intend for a single supplier to take responsibility for the management of all waste streams and are looking for expressions of interest from suppliers capable of undertaking this responsibility.
