Tender description

This notice for the SQ for National Baseline Assessment (NBA) of the Implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. The purpose of this Contract is for an independent supplier to carry out a National Baseline Assessment (NBA) on the Implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs). The assessment will cover all three pillars of the UNGPs: State Duty to Protect, Business Responsibility to Respect, and Access to Remedy. An NBA will clearly identify measures taken by Government that support business compliance with international and regional human rights standards and identify possible gaps in current measures. It will also assess to what extent UK businesses have committed to respecting human rights, including by carrying out voluntary HRDD, and providing effective remedies for abuses.
