Tender description

NICE is seeking to commission external assessment groups (EAGs) which will provide a range of health technology assessment (HTA) services to support its technology evaluation programmes and related activities. Suppliers must be able to provide all services within any Lot to bid for that Lot. NICE will consider proposals from consortia or networks of organisations meeting the selection criteria and encourages potential suppliers to explore collaborations that will result in the offer of a comprehensive range of services. NICE is inviting interested suppliers to attend a supplier early engagement day on Tuesday 1 October, 9.30am - 12:30pm, held virtually via Microsoft Teams. An opportunity for suppliers to have individual commercial in confidence meetings with NICE to discuss the questions raised by NICE on the supplier day will be available in the week following the supplier day. Lot 1: Clinical and Economic Evidence Assessment Including: critical appraisal of clinical and economic evidence to support the development of NICE outputs; evidence synthesis; de novo economic modelling and critiquing and revising existing models; updating information and evidence on technologies to support guidance review; preparation of evidence summaries on new and novel technologies; systematic review and meta-analysis; market intelligence analysis; supporting identification, topic selection and scoping of HealthTech products; confirmation and review of regulatory status to the evaluation programmes. This includes providing evidence synthesis, data analytics, complex decision analytical modelling and health economic support; providing a technical rapid response service and quality assurance input for guidance products; development and provision of guidance methods training, covering evidence synthesis, data analytics, decision analytical modelling and health economics; provision of a research governance and ethics support function.
