Climate Resilient Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (CR WaSH)

Tender description

The programme aims to support development of climate resilient WaSH facilities, service delivery as well as post construction systems to provide a climate resilient and sustainable WaSH service to the people in the drought affected areas of Ethiopia. Lot 1: The main components of the programme, which correspond to the needs it addresses, are: • Developing climate-proof WaSH infrastructure, and • Strengthening delivery systems (utilities) and post construction maintenance systems to enable them deliver inclusive, resilient, and sustainable WaSH services What are the expected results? Outcome: Climate resilient WaSH Access improved for 500,000 people Outputs: , • Climate resilient water supply schemes constructed • Delivery systems es sustainable maintenance systems established and strengthened CR WASH builds on the lessons, challenges, and successes, as well as recommendations from previous interventions and acknowledges the transformed context it will be operating in and is realistic about what it will be able to achieve with the resources available. The supplier and their potential partners would need to obtain registration under the relevant department as laid out by rules of the government of Ethiopia.
