T0588 KPI1 Casualty Reduction Schemes

Tender description

Technical and management support for the design and delivery of schemes focused on reducing KSIs across the NH network, primarily through reducing and enforcing speed limits. This resulted in funding being secured as follows: - North West - 5 schemes - Yorkshire / North East - 3 schemes - Midlands - 3 schemes - East - 6 schemes - South East - 2 schemes - South West - 2 schemes With funding secured, scheme delivery responsibility now sits with the respective regions with this likely, in most places, to take place via the Scheme Delivery Framework (SDF) with the requirement for schemes to be operational by March 2025. Coupled with scheme delivery, measures will be implemented, by SES, to monitor, evaluate and report on a selection of these schemes under a seperate task to this.
