2.4 Scope of work, specification and outputs<br />• The Supplier is required to support up to 2000 young entrepreneurs for intensive creative enterprise training using the British Council’s Socreative e-learning Online training platform framework and curriculum between September 2024 to end of May 2026. This will be done through 20 – 2 day workshops, 18 of which will be in person and 2 online per year.<br />• Benchmark attendance for the workshops is 50 people per workshop.<br />• Liaising with the British Council Arts team to ensure proper selection of workshop participants<br />• Develop a workplan and calendar for all the workshops, including location name. <br />• Engaging in monthly feedback meetings with project lead of monthly activities, including audience numbers.<br />• The Supplier is required to partake in all monitoring, evaluation, learning and reporting (including financial reporting) activities of the project including providing a monitoring and evaluation plan as directed by British Council.<br />• The Supplier is required to provide communications plan and assets for this programme to British Council <br />• Ensure lessons learnt and communication deliverables such as success stories, picture and videos from events are effectively documented and shared as per communication plan.<br />• The Supplier is encouraged to partner with creative industries’ departments at tertiary institutions for the delivery of some of the workshops.<br />• The supplier is required to use an accessible venue to encourage diverse groups to participate.<br />• The Supplier is required to be committed to delivering results in a timely manner. <br />• The Supplier is required to maintain an alumni network of participants of the project.<br />• The Supplier is required to assign adequate human resource to the project for its duration<br />• The Supplier is required to assist all delivery partners assigned by the British Council including the Monitoring and Evaluation and Communications partners for the duration of this project.<br />2.5 Expertise/resources required<br />• Strong experience facilitating and managing learning workshops and programmes with young people 18-35 with a focus on digital engagement.<br />• Ability to train other trainers on the modules.<br />• Ability to coach and mentor trainees, providing effective skills and business support to entrepreneurs. <br />• Connection to international and other local hubs to bring learning to support this project.<br />• Background knowledge of the cultural and creative industries in SSA <br />• An interest and developing expertise in working with young people <br />• Experience leading digital engagement opportunities with young people<br />• An interest or experience in working with, or within sectors related to the British Council’s work in Arts and Education.<br />• Understand the types of digital engagement opportunities through online learning and the SSA creative sector’s ambitions to connect with young people<br />• Proficiency of communicating in English.<br /><br /> 2.6 Expected Programme Outcomes<br />• Build a strong network of creative entrepreneurs in tertiary institutions and the creative sector in general.<br />• Encourage peer-learning and knowledge sharing among young creatives.<br />• Skills opportunities that support sustainable business development of creative enterprises.<br />• Increase collaboration and partnerships within Zimbabwe and between the UK on supporting the creative ecosystems.<br />• Increase learning for female creatives and people with disabilities to actively take part within the ecosystem.<br />2.7 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)<br />• 2000 young creative entrepreneurs participate in meaningful online and face-to-face workshops across the proposed locations in Zimbabwe.<br />• 100 creative entrepreneurs participate in online workshops.<br />• Brokering meaningful relationships through the programme<br />• Providing financial and Monitoring and evaluation reports for this programme<br />2.4.2 Communications and Storytelling <br />The selected Delivery Partner/Curator is required to take directives and work closely with the British Council Communication team on all marketing and communication related issues. The selected partner will be required to creative communications assets for the project and share with British Council accordingly for approval.<br />2.4.3 Monitoring and Evaluation<br />For this component, the Delivery Partner/Curator will be required to engage an M&E officer who will work closely with the British Council’s Monitoring & Evaluation team and will be responsible for managing the M&E processes and developing the monitoring tools (e.g., attendance sheets, baseline, and post-activity surveys, etc) at each stage of the programme. <br />
