IPCU Leverndale Options Appraisal

We require a lead consultant to produce an options appraisal study on the existing Ward 1 – IPCU at Leverndale Hospital. Lead consultant needs to have experience in designing for this patient group. Lead consultant will undertake Principal Designer role and manage any other required consultants under this appointment. The Board will not make individual appointments with each component member of the team, it will be the Lead Consultant's responsibility to prepare a comprehensive team submission, including costs, for each discipline of the team by stage as well as a schedule of hourly rates. A Cost Consultant will be appointed separately and directly by NHSGG&C. Lot 1: We require a lead consultant to produce an options appraisal study on the existing Ward 1 – IPCU at Leverndale Hospital. A Cost Consultant will be appointed separately and directly by NHSGG&C. Develop and improve the existing Intensive Psychiatric Care Unit (IPCU) on the Leverndale Hospital site. The aim is to create a welcoming atmosphere from the point of entry to and throughout the ward. We are looking to reconfigure the existing layout to ensure there is clear observation across the ward to enhance the safety and wellbeing of patients and staff alike. Currently the patient group reside in a mixture of shared dormitory rooms and single bedrooms without ensuite facilities. We are looking to provide 12 single bedrooms with ensuite facilities to promote dignity and personal space.
