SSA_Travel Management Services - Request for Information (RFI)

Tender description

The British Council is seeking further information on goods and/or services within the marketplace to meet the requirements set out below. We look forward to hearing about your capabilities and expertise but would emphasise that the purpose of this RFI is not the preparation by you of significant new material. Instead, it represents an opportunity for you to demonstrate how your goods and/or services can fulfil our requirements as set out below.<br /><br />The British Council operations in Sub Saharan Africa (SSA) is preparing to source and contract suitable Travel Management Suppliers to offer travel agency; to assist with travels arrangements, ground transfers and accommodation for its members of staff and sponsored external stakeholders for 48 months for both its domestic and international travels. We operate in 17 Countries across SSA region i.e. Cameroon, Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.<br /><br />We are planning to manage contracts with winning bidders during ITT (Invitation To Tender) process from three geographical clusters i.e. <br />1. East Africa Cluster comprising of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, and Sudan. <br />2. West Africa Cluster countries include: - Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, and Senegal <br />3. South Africa Cluster countries include: - South Africa, Botswana, Mauritius, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe<br /><br />The British Council intends to gain the advantages of an established and competent certified travel agent(s) with demonstrated long running operations and license with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in these SSA Countries.<br />
