Smart Travel Solution (School Buses)

Tender description

Bus Éireann is interested in procuring a Smart Travel Solution for it’s School Transport Fleet which will assist in managing the operation and management of school transport services nationwide. Depending on the solutions available on the market, it is envisaged that this solution would provide such functionality as; • Bus Loading Information / Seat Utilisation: Allowing passengers (pupils) to tag on/off to provide verification of the use of pre-booked seats, as per the ticketing data generated in-house. • Confirmation of Service Delivered: A Driver Device and App which will allow the recording of each trip (via GPS / driver-entered data) to verify and confirm that the Bus Operator has completed the School Service trip as planned. • Digital Routes Network: Provide GPS data for analytics, operational management and reporting purposes.
