Domestic Abuse and Violence Against Women and Girls Support Services

Haringey Council ("the Council") is in the process of commissioning the provision of Domestic Abuse and Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) support services. The Domestic Abuse and VAWG support services will be divided into 8 specialised lots, encompassing refuge accommodation, community-based services, specialist provision for ethnically minoritised, and LGBTQ+ communities, support for children and young people, Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference coordination, and support for GP practices through Identification and Referral to Improve Safety. These services aim to response violence against women and girls, foster a robust and coordinated community response, and provide comprehensive support to victim/survivors and their children who are affected by domestic and gender-based abuse. The Council is keen to consult and engage the provider market in the commissioning process and is inviting interested organisations to a pre-procurement market engagement Event. This event will be held in person on: Date: Tuesday, 17th September 2024 Time: 10:00am Venue: Location to be confirmed (will be in Haringey) The aim of this event is to consult with current and prospective providers on the service and how it will continue to support Haringey residents. The market engagement event will include a presentation of the Council's commissioning intentions, an overview of the anticipated requirements and the proposed procurement process. It will also offer potential service providers the opportunity to raise any questions or present any views prior to proceeding to the procurement process.
