CAT 3 Design Checks C4 - KCSL

Tender description

Kilnbridge have secured the HS2 Old Oak Common Station Works Packages WP13.1 Urban Realm Civils, Utilities and Earthworks and WP10.2 Ancillary Buildings. The scope of works involves the design of permanent and temporary works which will require CAT3 checks. Below is a non-exhaustive list of the design items under consideration: • Precast concrete buildings • Structural Steel a • Façade systems • Cofferdams (TW) • Fencing (TW) in proximity to TFL & Network Rail assets • Formwork (TW) in proximity to TFL & Network Rail assets • Crane working platforms (TW) in proximity to TFL & Network Rail assets The subcontractor will be expected to adhere to HS2/BBVS Design, Technical Assurance, & Information exchange procedures when producing calculation packs and any other check output documents. The checks will take place over a 3-year period starting at the beginning of Q4 2024.
