This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice following a competitive process for the provision of the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Hub (Eastern Hub) for NHS England Midlands (East) and East of England Lot 1: This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice following a competitive process for NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Hub (Eastern Hub) .<br/><br/>The Eastern Hub provision supports Screening Centres in the delivery of the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme (NHS BCSP) in Midlands (East) and East of England. The aim of the NHS BCSP is to ultimately reduce mortality from bowel cancer by identifying disease or polyps which could lead to disease at an early stage.<br/><br/>The Eastern Hub will align to the national NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme Hub Service Specification which aim to ensure a consistent and equitable approach across England, and to govern the provision and monitoring of the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme Hub Service.<br/><br/>The Service will commence on 01/04/2025 to 31/03/2030 (5 years), with the Commissioner having the option to extend the Contract for up to a further 4 years. <br/><br/>The total contract value including extensions is £65,916,576<br/><br/>The award criteria and weightings for this procurement was: <br/><br/>Key Criteria: Section 1: Quality & Innovation - 19%<br/>Key Criteria: Section 2: Value - 20%<br/>Key Criteria: Section 3: Integration, Collaboration & Service Sustainability - 43%<br/>Key Criteria: Section 4 Improving Access, Reducing Health Inequalities and Facilitating Choice - 8%<br/>Key Criteria: Section 5: Social Value - 10%
