Manufactured Products Agile Spares (MPAS) Lot 1: Sellafield Ltd intends to award a Contract to the Cumbria Manufacturing Alliance—an unincorporated joint venture between West Cumberland Engineering and Bendall's Engineering Ltd—for the supply of Manufactured Products Agile Spares.<br/>This agreement will encompass, but is not limited to, the following scope:<br/>• Ongoing supply of manufactured and fabricated products/spares to support stock replenishment across Sellafield Ltd’s operational plants, including minor project-related requirements. These products are deployed site-wide and are essential to maintaining continuous operations.<br/>• Provision of Calciner spares, which are critical to the functioning of the High-Level Waste Plant (HLWP).<br/>• General machining and fabrication, including the production of high-precision and complex components from a wide range of material grades—such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and exotic alloys—manufactured to engineering drawings and up to Quality Grade 01.<br/>• Execution of manufacturing trials and prototyping activities to support innovation and development.<br/><br/>The Commencement date is 3rd November 2025 and will be for a period of 4 years. The total final value £29,900,000 (provided at II.1.7) is for the 4-year duration and includes indexation.
