CS5732 Supported Housing Pathway

Tender description

The London Borough of Tower Hamlets Council (the “Council”) has a duty to provide supported housing for vulnerable young people (YP) and to ensure that the services it commissions are of the highest quality and standard. The Young People’s Supported Housing Pathway (the “Pathway”) is one of the ways in which the Council meets such duties. The Pathway is designed to provide accommodation and support services to YP aged 16 to 25, who are in and on the edge of care, such as (but not limited to): looked-after children (LAC), care leavers (CLs), unaccompanied asylum-seeking children (UASC), YP who are former UASC, homeless YP, YP at risk of homelessness and young parents (with their babies). The Pathway has been in place for several years and the Council is looking to re-commission it to ensure continuity in the services provided to YP. This specification outlines the requirements that will form part of the recommissioned Pathway. Potential providers are invited to consider their ability to deliver against these requirements and put forward bids as part of an open competitive tender exercise. Providers will deliver the Pathway services in line with the requirements contained within this specification and other accompanying contractual requirements (terms and conditions).
