Tender description

Newcastle University, along with its industrial partners are researching and developing the next generation of electrical machines and drives, operating at ultra-high speeds, with high efficiency and low mass. This can only be achieved through the use of fast switching power converters, including the extensive use of Gallium Nitride power electronics. We are seeking to acquire monitoring analysers and oscilloscopes which can capture the ultrafast power switching events and EMI effects that are not visible with conventional low bandwidth scopes and probes.
