Installation of Insulation, Gas Boiler installation, Provision of Energy Performance Certification & Retrofitting - all to domestic dwellings

Hull City Council is seeking for 3 suppliers:- - One to supply & install Insultation. - One to Install new gas Boilers, and first time central heating systems. - One to assess, and provide reports on Energy Performance Certification. Combined, the three above skills will each support the council in ensuring that citizens of Hull can adequately warm their home, maintain as much heat as possible, and receive energy assessments to forecast savings for installations. Lot 1: Installation of Insulation Measures to be provided by the Contractor include: Loft insulation Cavity wall insulation Cavity clearance Room in the roof insulation Draught proofing Loft hatch creation / insulation Ventilation (mechanical and passive) and all ancillary works Retrofit Assessor and Coordinator The Client requires a competent & registered Contractor to install the above insulation measures and, where required, ventilation, within the Hull City Council boundary. Lot 2: Gas Boiler & 1st time Heating Installation Measures to be provided include: Assessment of gas boilers, central heating installation & hot water provision. Removal of redundant boilers. Provision & installation of new A rated boilers with magnetic & limescale filters. Provision & installation of extensions to current central heating system where required. Provision & installation of new central heating systems. Provision & installation of new heating controls. Refurbishment as a direct consequence of works. Retrofit Assessor Lot 3: Energy Performance Certification & Retrofitting Assessment The Client requires a registered Domestic Energy Assessor to provide EPC's and to undertake ‘Energy Company Obligations’, ECO deemed score surveys of domestic properties (deemed scores are the carbon calculations which determine the lifetime savings each measure installed produces, alongside the grant funding that can be claimed) within the Hull City Council Boundary. Also, to provide Trustmark approved Retrofit Assessor and Coordinator roles.
