Tender description
To increase health and wellbeing, it is essential that people are able to maintain behaviour change in the longer term to benefit not only their health but their quality of life; this can be achieved through self-management, improved health literacy and confidence. We are therefore seeking to procure a contract for Healthy Lifestyles services for the city as part of a comprehensive programme of health and wellbeing interventions and services for people living and working in Southend-on-Sea. The aim of the contract is to deliver the following: Adult Weight Management Services, Smoking and Vaping Cessation, Making Every Contact Count, Workplace Wellbeing, Outreach and GP Health Checks, Social prescribing, Physical Activity Interventions, Falls Prevention.
