Tender description

In March 2022, Blackpool was identified by Central Government as the first Levelling Up area; reflecting the urgent and pressing need for public sector intervention to address the issues in the housing market in inner Blackpool. This scale of intervention required will necessitate a multi-phased approach to delivery with the aim of reducing the level of public sector support over the long term. Refurbishment of properties as well as upgrading the urban street scene and provision of open space will be amongst key interventions. A key element of this commission will be supporting local engagement activity along with formal consultation process.
