Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of a Parallel Peptide Synthesiser

Tender description

This Contract Award Notice relates to the contract for supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of a peptide synthesiser for the Pure & Applied Chemistry Department of the University of Strathclyde. The University conducted an Open Tender process to award this contract. Lot 1: The Department of Pure & Applied Chemistry within the University of Strathclyde, required a single supplier to supply, deliver and commission a peptide synthesiser. The system is to enable the parallel production of peptides, proteins, and their derivatives using solid phase peptide synthesis approaches. The system will permit the multiple parallel synthesis if this important class of biomolecule for applications in chemical biology, and medicine design. The contract includes delivery, installation, commissioning and be accompanied by a minimum of 12 months warranty. Additional information: The total contract value is inclusive of 24 additional months service & maintenance that was included within the tender documentation and taken up by the Contracting Authority at point of award.
